Thanksgivin'

Todd's mom decided to start a fun tradition to bring a little fitness into the stuff-your-face-fest we call Thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving morning we went to the elementary school that I used to teach at and had some White Family Olympics...of sorts. My children each ended up in different heats determined by age. They were the youngest in each race, and they all came in dead last. That's ok, though, because grandma made everyone a medal!

Mailee was the first of ours to race. (Livie is in the picture, but didn't actually run with this little group.) We were just proud of her to head in the right direction. We also can't get enough of her Muppet run. It's so vertical that its a miracle she actually gets anywhere at all!Livie was next. Addison finished things off for us. He was the youngest by over a year. I really was proud of my kids for participating and being good sports. They were my favorite anyway!
